It was 2008, in June there was a Yes!+ advance course with dinesh dada at the Bangalore ashram. What made it more interesting was that Guruji was there at the ashram. Most of my friends were going to do the Yes!+ TTC that followed the advance course and chances were that all of us might not do the advance course together again. They had insisted me long and somehow made me feel that I should do the advance course.
The situations were such that my semester 6 exams gets over by 21st and the advance course begins on 23rd and so, I had to register by 22nd. Usually, in engineering colleges, we have companies visiting for campus placements immediately after semester 6 exams are over, mostly the next day. As a result, I was tensed and didn’t know what to do. I had to choose between my job and a package which contains my first advance course, dinesh dada, Guruji, all my friends. I was confused and damn stressed for a whole week. I could observe that I was getting weak because of all that stress and worries. I constantly prayed to Guruji. I asked him to tell me which one to choose. On a very subtle level, I was hoping if I could have the best of both.
Among all this, I had a thought to just call up my placement officer and ask him when the companies are coming. Well, he said they are not coming this week! So I had a whole week off. WOW! Never expected that to happen. So, I quickly caught the first flight to Bangalore and went to the ashram and did my first ever advance course.
That was the first time I felt the presence of the Divine. After that, all my life was a Guru story to tell.
