My first encounter with Guruji was in the Bangalore ashram on June, when I had gone for my 1st advance course with all my friends.
At the satsang, Guruji arrived and asked all of us, “How are you all? Did everyone get their accommodations? Was there any problems coming to ashram? Are you all happy now?”
OMG, I was completely flattered. I mean, here is a guy who travels all over the world, so many times and he is no ordinary person, yet he speaks as if a guest had come to his house, with soo soft voice and very politely. It was awesome.
Earlier I had wondered so many times why do people have so much craze on Guruji. He is just a person. Ya he did some great things, but that’s all. What is the need to run after him so madly and behave insanely? But at the ashram, looking at His divine presence and hearing his talks, I did the same things that I called “crazy”. Then I realized that Guruji is worth doing all that. He is simply amazing. One look at him can really change your attitude, fills you with energy and contentment. It was truly and wonderful experience.
Later, by the end of the advance course, we were all missing Him. The advance course is about to get over and nobody is sure when we can meet Guruji next. All 500 people were thinking about him at the same time and wept as they were doing the dancing process. When they opened their eyes, guess what, Guruji was sitting in front of them! And we had a session with Sri Sri and everyone enjoyed it and were fully contented.
Hence my first advance course was very much special, courtesy of H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar aka Guruji.
Loads of Love,
Ravi.
